The inaugural Australia M&A Forum successfully took place in Sydney on 26 September. The event brought together over 220 senior delegates including corporate investors, private equity fund managers and M&A advisors, representing 140 different organizations.
The conference, which focused on examining the Australian M&A landscape and was kicked off by Rod Sims, Chairman, Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and featured leading executives from Goldman Sachs, Macquarie Capital, UBS, King & Wood Mallesons, Merrill Corporation, Marsh, and KPMG speaking on a number of selected and well-researched topics including the regulatory environment, ESG and shareholder activism, private equity’s role in M&A and cross-border opportunities.
