Thank You!

A very big thank you to all of the sponsors of, speakers at and delegates to 2009’s 22nd Annual Asian Private Equity & Venture Forum, Hong Kong.

In a year which has seen the PE industry reach deep to find the resources to help portfolio companies weather the onslaught from the biggest global downturn – ever – it was hugely gratifying for all of us at AVCJ to see our continuing efforts on your behalf rewarded, not only by the presence of some of the founding fathers and modern-day leaders of the industry worldwide, but also by intense, and at times controversial, panel discussions running the gamut of the hot-button issues facing the industry today.

Besides the main forum, the week is filled with ancillary events including the Private Equity Leaders’ Summit, the inaugural LP Summit, the annual Investors’ Lunch and the Asian Private Equity Awards, not to mention the numerous cocktail parties, lunches and board meetings arranged by fund managers and their LPs around the main conference.

This huge ecosystem, which AVCJ has built with the industry’s support, is of great significance to international investors and their GPs alike who’re able to fly in to Hong Kong in the second week of November to meet everyone who’s anyone in private equity in Asia—and increasingly, worldwide.
